On 27 th September 2018, feast of Saint Vincent de’ Paul, our protector, 7 young women (3 from Italy, 3 from Pakistan and one from Lebanon) began the Novitiate. During the celebration, at the presence of the Superior General, Sr Nunzia, and Sr Mary Stephanos the provincial of the Italy-Malta Province, together with the Novice Mistress, Sr Linda, they pronounced their "yes" to this new step in religious life, marked by an ever growing intimacy with Jesus. They were also joined by an Italian and a Maltese Novice who had begun the Novitiate earlier.
The novitiate is a period of initiation into the consecrated life among the Sisters of Charity in which the novice is gradually accompanied and grows in awareness of the vocation of the Sisters of Charity, in the community life and in the specific mission according to the Rule of Life.
They will all learn to live in communion and fraternal love while serving the poor and the Church.
To all of them we wish a joyful journey always listening to the Lord who calls each one to live in true and free Love.
