During this Christmas tide, we follow the journey of Sr. Nunzia de Gori, superior general of the Congregation and that of Sr. Maria Rosa, a general councilor who are encountering the sisters of the Central African Province.

Between the 12th and the 23rd December, they visited the communities of the sisters of charity residing in Chad: in N’Djamena, the capital city;  in Sarh, in Kyabé, in Goundi, in the diocese of Sarh, in Bam and Goré situated in the southern part of the country; on the 24th December they arrived in the Central African Republic to celebrate Christmas with the sisters of  Bocaranga.

« In Bocaranga, the situation is calm. The village life has turned to normal rapidly. The forces of the U.N. and the Minusca have been reinforced. On Sunday we participated in the mass which was well animated with songs and dancing. The church was overcrowded… For a while, the people forget their sufferings !
The community is doing well. The sisters work in two foyers and in a big school with over one thousand pupils ».
On the 26th, they resumed their voyage from Bocaranga to Bouar.
« We will remain in  Bouar until the 30th December. On the 29th  we will be holding a meeting with all the sisters of the country. Then we will head to Cameroun, first to N’Gaoundal, to the north of the country and then to Yaoundé.»
We hope to be back in Rome on the 5th January.
« Let’s pray together for peace in the world. In spite of everything, humanity is moving towards the big Christmas of the end of times. Jesus gathers in him the whole universe.  Best wishes to everybody ».  Sr. Nunzia
