In honour of the Feast of St. Jeanne Antide celebrated on 23 May, we invited a group of about 60 guests from the services promoted and managed by the St. Jeanne Antide Foundation (SJAF). Everyone was offered a special lunch, generously hosted by The Imperial, a nursing home offering convalescent and respite care.

We began the day immersed in the serenity of the beautiful gardens of The Imperial, followed by a heartfelt Mass of Thanksgiving celebrated by Fr Luke Cutajar, who helped us to reflect deeply on the meaning of this occasion and the importance of listening to the voice of God within us.

Afterwards, we enjoyed a delicious meal together – a moment of joy, warmth and gratitude – made possible by the exceptional hospitality of the Imperial team, especially the dedicated kitchen staff.

Heartfelt thanks also go to Watt Garage for providing free transport, making it possible for us to gather for this special celebration.

It was a truly memorable experience, a moment of community and thanksgiving in honour of the beloved founder of the Sisters of Charity.

The St Jeanne Antide Foundation (SJAF) is the social welfare arm of the Sisters of Charity of Saint Jeanne Antide Thouret in Malta. Its main objective is to provide professional care services to highly vulnerable individuals and families suffering from very difficult living conditions and to those who are slipping into poverty and are socially marginalised.
