Sixty young people – high school students, university students, professionals – from four houses of the Sisters of Charity in Vientiane, Thakhek, Dongmakngeo and Paksé gathered for a pilgrimage organised on the occasion of the bicentenary of Saint Jeanne Antide on Saturday, 28 February 2026.
This day was an opportunity to get to know each other better, to strengthen their brotherhood and that with others.
We began the day with the celebration of the Eucharist.
In the morning, after the welcome, we listened to Sister Bernadette Noymany Keosouvanhthong, the counsellor, and Sister Marie Bruno Bounmy Thiravong, who recounted the life of Saint Jeanne Antide.
In the afternoon, we had a pleasant exchange between the colleges of origin and celebrated Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament to conclude this day of fraternity, before everyone returned to their places of life and study.
