At the Santa Giovanna Antida school, a day of themed games and workshops for children and adults was organised.
The educational community of Mandello del Lario, at the school named after Saint Jeanne Antide, wished to commemorate the French nun, the bicentenary of whose death—which occurred on 24 August 1826 in Naples—falls this year.
A workshop focused on the knowledge and use of medicinal herbs: Giovanna Antida treated the sick using herbs;
A themed game centred on empathy and understanding towards those in difficulty, following the example of the Foundress’s work.
