INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON INTEGRAL ECOLOGY

To motivate all individuals and communities within the Thouret Family to be educated and wholeheartedly committed to caring for our common home and its inhabitants, the 2021 General Chapter established the International Laboratory of Integral Ecology.
In response to the call issued by Pope Francis, the Laboratory works in partnership with the Laudato Si’ Movement—the global movement promoted by the Church to pray, collaborate, and mobilize—to achieve the goal of leaving future generations a more sober, supportive, and fraternal society and a less polluted, more livable earth.

The Laboratory of Integral Ecology organizes awareness-raising and training sessions, involving a vast network of Regional, National, and Local Representatives who work toward integral ecological conversion.

The journey of ecological conversion is carried out in various areas of mission: by teachers who raise awareness and conduct practical activities with students, who in turn work at home with their parents; by those engaged in parishes, family homes, boarding schools, and health centers. In short, in all the communities and works of the Thouret Family.

Wherever there is a Sister of Charity or a lay friend, the message of caring for our Common Home is carried forward.
