Dear Istituto Maria Immacolata,
Time always has a relative value in people’s lives: sometimes a minute can seem endless, just as fifteen years can fly by in the blink of an eye.
My journey began way back in 1989, when, at the age of 3, I started kindergarten in the cornflower class, and ended in 2003 with a diploma from the Liceo della Comunicazione Opzione Sociale (High School of Communication, Social Option).

My parents’ choice was easy, as my father was also a former pupil.
When I was asked to give my testimony, I didn’t hesitate for a moment because I have only fond memories of the 15 years I spent within these walls.
I remember certain things perfectly, such as the turtles at the entrance to the nursery school, the elementary school classrooms where we did Christmas crafts, which are now used as parent-teacher meeting rooms, the music room under the high school, and the end-of-year shows, which were and still are a tradition.
The only thing that has changed is the outdoor courtyard, which used to be part of the girls’ oratory, where catechism classes were held after school and summer camp in the summer. There were also games in the courtyard near the fountain.
However, my experience at the Imi (Istituto Maria Immacolata, ed.) is far from over, as all three of my children are currently students there.
When I walked through the entrance again, for the first time as a mother, everything I had experienced as a student came back to me.
I found the turtles, the end-of-year shows, and many teachers and school staff whose style had not changed one bit.
For me, IMI is home, a safe haven to entrust my children to. It is the commitment to nurturing children through a targeted educational program that is attentive to their various needs that prompted me as a mother to make this choice.
When you choose IMI, you choose to be part of a large family.
Best regards,
Cristina
