My name is Carla Habib Mourad.
I am married and have two children. Passionate about health and wellness, I work as a nutritionist-dietitian and nutrition lecturer at the American University of Beirut.
I spent ten exceptional years at the Sainte Anne des Sœurs de Besançon school in Beirut, Lebanon, a historic institution dating back to 1914, which has seen generations of girls from the most important Lebanese families pass through its doors.

Those years were much more than just school years; they were a fundamental period in the formation of my personality. The stimulating and enriching environment of the school allowed me to develop essential skills that still accompany me today.
During my high school years, I was fortunate to play an active role as a youth leader in the Eucharistic Youth Movement (EYM), an experience that taught me how to supervise, guide, and work in a team, skills that are invaluable to me in my career today.
This institution taught me discipline and rigor, but also the importance of empathy and collaboration. These values have significantly contributed to shaping my professional path, particularly in my current role as a professor at the American University of Beirut (AUB), where I lead a national educational program, Ajyal Salima, which aims to promote good eating habits among students aged 8 to 12.
Furthermore, my commitment to health and well-being has its roots in this period of my life. As a public figure, I strive to share advice and information on social media to raise public awareness about healthy lifestyles, a mission that is very close to my heart.
I am deeply grateful for the education I received at this prestigious institution and for the opportunities it has afforded me. Sainte Anne de Besançon School in Beirut played a fundamental role in my education and continues to positively influence my personal and professional life.
