On 6 and 7 September 2025 in Paris, several hundred consecrated persons from all over France will gather to experience a unique national jubilee, linked to the Holy Year 2025 proclaimed by Pope Francis.
This spiritual, fraternal and missionary event will take the form of a pilgrimage in three symbolic stages: on the morning of 6 September, participants will gather at Notre-Dame de Paris for an individual reflection (Angelus and Mass at 8:30 a.m.). They are all invited to attend the opening celebration (10:45 a.m.) which will take place at the Church of Saint Eustache, and then in the early afternoon, they will make their way to the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Montmartre.
Everyone will be able to participate in a large, highly symbolic collaborative work with the help of Sister Samuelle, a mosaic artist.

A strong sign in the city
In a context marked by crises, social divisions, and a search for meaning and reflection on commitment, this gathering aims to be a testimony of peace and hope! Reflection will also be at the heart of the meeting on Saturday afternoon, with ‘crossed perspectives’ on the theme of the jubilee, offered by Father Bruno Cadoré, OP, and Elena Lasida. Echoing Pope Francis and Pope Leo XIV, this gathering will remind us that consecrated life is attentive to the cry of the poor, committed to the most vulnerable, at the service of those who suffer, and bearing the voice of the forgotten.
Celebrating peace and hope
It is also at the heart of caring for and safeguarding creation by promoting ecological conversion and joyful simplicity, bearing witness that peace and justice also come through respect for the earth and life, whether through prayer or action. On Saturday evening, there will be a festive prayer vigil at Saint Pierre de Montmartre to give thanks!
On Sunday morning, various groups will gather in different places to celebrate Lauds and then walk to Saint Sulpice Church. This great Parisian church will host the final jubilee celebration in the afternoon! These two days will also allow those who cannot go to Rome next October to come together at the national level, as the jubilee initiative requested!
