It’s time to network!

In an atmosphere of fraternity and sharing, from 13 to 15 June 2025, a significant representation of the members of the respective Offices and Laboratories promoted and coordinated by the General Government met to continue walking together and thus face the challenges of the mission in the Church and in today’s society.

This is how the Superior General, Sister Maria Rosa, chose to open the meeting:

“It seems important to me to begin this meeting with the words of Psalm 127:

“Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labour in vain”.

We are here because we believe that, after having given life to the various Laboratories, it is essential to consider carefully what we are building and how. On a concrete level, human beings build houses and cities. A well-built house can last much longer than the person who built it, as can a city… It therefore seems important to me to invite each Workshop, and therefore all of us, to consider carefully what we are building. We are all convinced that He is the true builder of the house, but also that the “builders” who work together can more easily help the “Builder”.

For an international family like ours, with 226 years of history, working together and creating a network is fundamental. The value of “networking” lies in the possibility of enhancing the specific skills and contributions of each workshop in order to achieve common goals.

Different workshops, but one “family” that chooses to share the same vision and direction.

The commitment of the various workshops is to keep the flame of Charity alive in the world.

Therefore, we must join forces to create a broad alliance inspired by the Charism.

We are all invited to enter into a process of growth in communion, woven together by knowledge, relationships and mutual exchange.

This process must be deeply rooted in the charism of Mother Thouret.

In turn, communion and rootedness in the charism are at the service of the mission, of apostolic zeal, so that the fire of charity may spread throughout the world, in the furrows of history.
