Our community of the Little House of Saint Joseph, in honour of the Bicentenary of Saint Jeanne Antide’s birth into heaven, has decided to dedicate every Monday to her, lighting a candle all day long in front of her portrait in the chapel to remind us to talk about her.

Also on Mondays, we pray the Holy Rosary with the guests of our house; each mystery is preceded by short passages from the writings of the Foundress.
With the young university students every Monday, we choose three of her thoughts and read them before dinner.
With the young people of the Youth Ministry, among the proposals for reflection, there is also a moment dedicated to the story of Saint Jeanne Antide, so that they can get to know her better.

The gesture to be lived by every Sister in the Community is that of care, especially towards those who come to our house to be treated in the hospitals of Milan, often accompanied by a relative.
In fact, for four years our house has been part of the Association ‘A casa lontano da casa’ (At home away from home), which aims to create a Solidarity Network of accommodation and services for those who are away for medical treatment.
The aim is to offer patients and those accompanying them a “safe haven” where they can stay during their journey of hope, allowing them to face their treatment with greater peace of mind, feeling “at home away from home”.
We have set up an exhibition of angels called “An Angel for Your Home” and we plan to donate part of the proceeds to the Bicentennial expenses.
