Rome: ‘Happy New Year to everyone from the sisters and young people in Rome, House Saint Jeanne Antide, participating in the Alternative New Year experience’.

The Alternative New Year experience – prayer, fraternity, service to the least – was enriched this year with the Jubilee pilgrimage and the crossing of the Holy Door.
From different parts of Italy, France, Romania, Malta and Albania, young men and women gathered in Rome from 28 December to 2 January to experience the transition from 2025 to 2026 as ‘Tireless seekers of Light’, the title chosen for the initiative.
The days were characterised by moments of formation and listening to the Word of God, testimonies and moments of service in the Caritas canteen in Rome in Via Marsala, near Termini station.
The young people had dinner with the guests of the canteen on the evening of the 31st and enlivened the last moments of the year with a tombola together with the guests of the “Don Luigi Di Liegro” hostel.
