The year 2025 is an important milestone for the Congregation of the Mission, which celebrates its 400th anniversary, coinciding with the Holy Year of Hope.

This double jubilee, rich in spirituality and renewal, is a unique opportunity for Vincentian missionaries to clothe themselves in the Spirit of Christ and embark on a pilgrimage of hope.

Paris was the heart of the celebration: from 28 to 30 April 2025, a special Triduum brought together members of the Congregation from around the world in a spirit of thanksgiving, renewal and commitment.

With liturgical celebrations, reflections and community meetings, the Triduum invited participants to deepen their understanding of the charism of St. Vincent de Paul and to rediscover the ever-present call to evangelise the poor and form the clergy.

This three-day celebration honoured the legacy of four centuries of service and looked with hope to the future of the Mission.

‘Let us touch the wounds of the world with deep respect, to put a balm of hope in them.’

Mgr. José Vicente Nácher Tatay, CM
