Let us praise the Lord! sings Sister Alexandra: ‘This is how we express our joy when the Shepherd of the Diocese of Timișoara, Mgr. József-Csaba Pál, came to celebrate Mass at our university residence “Come and See”.
On Friday of Easter Week, I received a phone call from the bishop, who was at the airport on his way to Rome to concelebrate at the funeral of our dear Pope Francis. He asked me if he could come and celebrate Mass for the university students. I immediately expressed our joy at his coming among us.
It was a well-attended Mass, with a homily that touched the hearts of the young people and ours, the Sisters of the community who are at their service.
After Mass, we stayed to talk about things concerning the Church and asked questions. This was followed by a moment of fun together with the young people from inside and outside the community. In peaceful joy, we realised that it is better to be together with others, spending quality time, rather than… sitting in front of screens.
We ask the Lord for the grace to always accompany us with His Love. May His tenderness support us on our journey!
