On the occasion of Time of Creation 2025, the Charismatic Family of Mother Thouret is committed to concrete actions for Creation around the world.
Here is a journey that covers the whole world:
ALBANIA
Exhibition aimed at raising awareness, open to the public every day except Sundays. Expo prepared with volunteers who took care of the drawings, panel adjustments, etc. …)
Main themes: recycling, creation, recovery…

During an outing with disabled people on October 14, the beach was cleaned of plastic and aluminum cans for about an hour.

BOLIVIA
The priests of the Archdiocese of Sucre (Bolivia) welcomed the Sisters of Charity warmly during their weekly meeting. They listened, took notes, asked questions, and committed themselves to promoting the upcoming Month of Creation 2025. More than 20 priests were present, in addition to the archbishop and auxiliary bishop. All those present received photocopies of the informational material.
For the sisters, the novelty was the proposal made by some of the priests present to organize a possible workshop in their parish, which received a positive response from the sisters.
Creation Month had already begun around the world. In Sucre, with the support of the local Church (diocese and parishes), the religious communities of the Franciscan Friars and the Sisters of Charity invited everyone to climb the most beloved hill in the area to contemplate, reflect, and praise the Creator.

SWITZERLAND
On September 23, in Martigny, Switzerland, a celebration was held on the theme: “Peace with creation.”
Here we see the gesture of sowing peace.
SPAIN
On Sunday, September 21, under pouring rain, the community welcomed autumn in San Sebastián by visiting elderly people in a nursing home.
They began with a moment of prayer to prepare themselves to see Jesus in the poor and be enlivened by Him. Then the Laudato Si circle “il colibrì” was presented, recalling that it was Creation Month and an important bicentennial for our Congregation.
Then each one introduced herself, bringing a flower, a branch, a fruit…
Together they created an autumn bouquet that they gave to the residents.
“You should have seen their beaming faces. We sang about peace, hope, the beauty of Creation, and sometimes the elderly clapped along with us. Angeles, 97, was so happy that she even wanted to dance…
It was difficult to say goodbye… So we decided to come back and visit them at Christmas.”
LATIN AMERICA
“We are sharing the materials we used for our provincial meeting on the season of creation. It was a very enriching experience of sharing among the sisters and friends of Saint Juana Antida. We are also attaching a video summarizing the initiatives carried out during this period in different contexts.”
PARAGUAY
The Season of Creation 2025 has come to an end with the theme “Peace with Creation.” As a small presence of the Sisters of Charity in Puerto Triunfo, Paraguay, we seek to grow personally and communally in the process of integral ecological conversion and to transmit the objectives of Laudato Si’ in all the spaces in which we act.
Together with our lay friends, who accompany us in every service, we sow “seeds” to work for the ecology of the heart, fostering “disarmed and disarming relationships” where everyone, without fear, threats, or blows, is able to resolve conflicts, open hearts, and generate trust, empathy, and hope.
For this reason, during this period we organized
- The Youth Sports Jubilee, where young people from different groups came together to play futsal and handball guided by values such as: respect for the rules, teamwork, and solidarity with the other team. Becoming capable of celebrating every good move, no matter who made it, treating each other with care and respect, being happy to be together and share, putting our talents at the service of others, regardless of the final result, leaving with our hearts full of new friends, the certainty that we need each other to carry out any activity and that together we will make the world a better place for everyone.
- With the children from the school support program, we enjoyed a walk in nature, remembering our role as “guardians” and stewards of all that has been created. We gathered seeds to plant in our garden and created a soccer field so that everyone could have fun playing with values. It is from a peaceful heart that relationships are born that can bring peace and harmony to everyday life.
- The jubilee of cooks in soup kitchens: together we experienced a different kind of Sunday, which we began with Mass and then, in a space surrounded by trees and birdsong, we set out to share through various activities, reflecting on the quality of our relationships, how we work as a team, how to solve problems, and how to treat others.
We let Giovanna Antida enlighten us and try to find ways to improve our service: enriching our menu, becoming aware of the need to avoid food waste (because it offends those who produce it and is a lack of solidarity for those who do not have it), how to sort waste, generate fertilizer with wet waste, recycle plastic and containers, reduce volume, avoid the generation of microplastics, and take care of electricity and water consumption personally and as a community.
For this and much more, Laudato Si, my Lord.
EGYPT
Sainte Jeanne Antide Institute – Alexandria
“Today, Tuesday, September 30 – Liturgy of the primary cycle
We sang the hymn ”God, Creator of All Things,” watched the film about Creation, and recited the Ouchies, Coptic prayers for all people in need. We commit ourselves to reciting the Ouchies prayer every day. A work session entitled “Meditation in the school garden” will be organized.
The second grade class will collect the leaves in the courtyard during the first recess. The third and fifth grade classes will supervise the proper use of water taps during recess. Each student will take care of their own balcony, tend to the plants, and send photos.”
Sainte Jeanne Antide Institute in Alexandria. During this week:
“Accompanying fifth grade students (A and B) to the school garden to observe creatures of nature, such as plants, birds, fruits, and trees.
They then sang ”God, Creator of All Things” and greatly enjoyed the session.
During the second recess, we went downstairs with the second grade students.
We walked around the entire courtyard and, picking up fallen objects, reminded the girls of the importance of keeping our school clean: if something falls, it must be picked up immediately, and if a sandwich falls, it must be put in the appropriate container.”
Laudato Si’ Day at school
“Our students at Sainte Anne School in Cairo enjoyed a wonderful day dedicated to Laudato Si’, Pope Francis’ appeal to ‘care for our common home’.
Through activities, prayers, and moments of sharing, they discovered how nature is a precious gift that we must protect with love and responsibility.”
