We want to recall once again Pope Francis, who has witnessed to us how to live the values of the Gospel faithfully, with courage and universal love, especially on behalf of the poorest and most marginalized.
As the Charismatic Family of St. Jeanne Antida, “we want to join our prayer of condolence for the one who was Shepherd for God’s people, but also for all humanity”
Mother Maria Rosa’s Circular is entitled “In Memory of Pope Francis,” in which she recalls – so that these memories will not be lost – two meetings of Pope Francis with the Sisters of Charity, with their message of inspiration and encouragement:
– His unexpected visit to the Generalate House on March 14th , 2017;
– His Address to the Participants of the General Chapter 2021.
The Superior General of the Congregation of the Mission, Fr. Tomaž Mavrič, C.M., also shared a message of gratitude and reflection, “As members of the Congregation of the Mission and the Vincentian Family, we find in his ministry a profound resonance with our charism: the passion to evangelize and serve the most vulnerable.”
