Assisi, from 27 to 29 February 2024: with the General Council, the Provincial Councils and the Servant Sisters of the Besançon – Savoie and Euro-Mediterranean Provinces, we began our work with prayer, in the name of Jesus, the Risen One, who is in our midst and gives us his Spirit, the Spirit of love, the Spirit who gives life.
Let us open our hearts to the gift that the Lord wants to give us during these days, and let us entrust ourselves to Him, letting Him enlighten us, so that our meeting, our listening and our discernment may help us to bear abundant fruits of new life.
Let us pray
God the Father, who continues to look after, to prune and to graft, the vineyard of our Congregation, grant us the joy of feeling that we are branches united to You, to weave among us bonds of fraternity in newness, and to nourish our living as sisters animated by the same passion for you and for the poor. Through Jesus Christ your Son who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit forever and ever. Amen
